Black car sedans, SUVs, minivans, wheelchair-accessible vehicles (WAV), and ambulatory transport vehicles. Most standard TLC vehicles qualify.
For Medicaid, hospital, and clinic trips, you’ll also need vehicle inspection certification and — for WAV — proper tie-down and securement equipment.

Yes. There’s no exclusivity requirement. Many of our drivers split their time, using Classic Ryde for scheduled medical and government trips and app platforms when they want flexibility.
Our payments are every Friday, but you can make an “Early Pay Request” at any time to receive same-day payment of your current balance.

Trips are listed live on the TripBid app for drivers to bid on. Every trip shows full transparency — displaying the location, price, and distance so you can be sure you’re bidding on the trip you want. The app will also offer you nearby trips automatically.
You’ll need your state driver’s license, TLC license, vehicle registration, TLC Diamond Sticker photo, insurance card, certificate of liability (with your name listed), DMV inspection sticker, and bank information for payments. Upload everything directly through the TripsBid app — no faxing or in-person visits required.
Yes, you must have a TLC license and a TLC-plated vehicle to service our customer base.
